February Birthdays for the Lenth and Stauffer Families

Hello followers,

Many of you know of the busy month of February I have with birthdays.  I kid you not that I have family with birthdays on Feb. 3,4,7,9,10,11,12,13,14,17,20  plus friends on other days of the month.  4 of those birthdays are myself and my 3 kids.  We celebrated this year on Saturday the 13th (my dad's bday) at Happy Joe's Pizza and Ice Cream in Davenport.  We tried for Chuck E. Cheese but after waiting in line forever they couldn't get us in because they were at capacity.  Besides our kids, the 24 year old nephew leaving for the Navy soon, and 21 year old niece, were disappointed at not being able to play games!

For those of you who do not know what Happy Joes is... they will bring you a clown sundae and come out and sing to you with horns, flashing lights and sirens, after announcing to all that there are special birthdays to celebrate.  Our group of 11 got quite the look when 6 clown sundaes were put at our table.

Celebrating birthdays in the month of February is not really easy.  My birthday is the 4th and is usually overlooked, because of the kids' birthday.  However this year I was given an unsurprise surprise party by my friend.  It was her kids and mine at her house with pizza and cake and ice cream.  It was really just a day that worked out for her daughter and I to have our picture taken together.  We didn't get it done at her bday party so Alicia made a little party for me and we had a lot of fun.

After our celebration of 6 of us on Saturday, we still had to come up with something on Sunday since it was the twins' real 9th bday.  They get valentines at school and birthday at home to keep things a little more simple.  Hopefully as they get older (much) and they have boyfriends, they will be lucky enough to have them celebrate Valentine's Day AND their birthday and not have it left out.

Myself- I don't get a valentine's day anymore. My last one was probably the year before the girls were born!  Griffin doesn't really care, he just wants his birthday gifts on the 17th for his birthday.
